SOUTH MAUI BEACHES IN THE KIHEI, WAILEA AREA NEAREST TO OUR HOME:

Charlie Young Beach: About 2 miles south of our home in Kihei. This beach is actually the northern portion of Kamaole Beach Park #1.

Kamaole Beach Park #1: 75 Alanui Ke'ali'i, Kihie, HI Phone: 808-879-4364 This is a scenic park offering a sandy beach, calm waters for swimming, an on-duty lifeguard & sea turtles. 

Kamaole Beach Park #2: So. Kihei Road. Just south of Kamaole Beach #1 this beach is a 2.2 acre beach park that features a lifeguard station plus picnic tables, grills & restrooms. 

Kamaole Beach Park #3: So. Kihei Road just south of Kamaole Beach #2. This park features a sandy beach beach & spacious grassy area with picnic tables & a playground.

Keawakapu Beach: This beach is in Wailea and is one of Wailea's top visited beaches. Fewer rocks, more greenery, calmer waters and soft golden sand line the shore. This beach is south of the Kamaole 1, 2, & 3 beaches.

Ulua Beach: Wailea. A popular beach with something for everyone. Restrooms and showers are readily available. Google this beach for directions. 

Big Beach. Located in Makena Beach State Park. This is a polular beach for body or board surfing and boofie boarding with huge waves across the shoreline. BE CAREFUL here as the waves can get quite large and many injuries occur if you are not careful.
