This is a PRIVATE BEACHFRONT SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE!  PROPERTY IS FRONTED BY A HAND BUILT LAVA ROCK WALL, FOR SECURITY AND PRIVACY.
 We offer you and your family a True Hawaiian Home, built in 1960'S! It is very hard to find an original house, especially with approximately an acre lawn and BEACHFRONT. They are nearly obsolete. Your walk to the Beach is just across the manicured lawn. (approx.100') Our home has been upgraded, but all of the Hawaiian charm still remains. With so much building going on in Maui, it is hard to find a safe property that has stayed close to original. Families and children love the SAFE property, the games we offer, Croquet, bag toss, beach toys, Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and lounges.Â
This home has individually controlled air conditioning, in each room.  There are also ceiling fans in each room. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything you should need. If you are feeling you are lacking something in the kitchen, please let us know!
A large Lanai is a wonderful way to spend the day. Ocean views, (seasonal Whale Watching, November-March, and Large green sea turtles love to sleep on our beach. Nightly(almost) viewing is a  wonderful surprise for all to see. Please, do not shine flashlights on the turtles, or touch them. Please stay 10 feet away from the turtles. They may not return is they feel threaten. If they are inter family dining or a great BBQ. Gas BBQ is included.
Our uncrowded beach is located approximately 100' from the house. A short walk across the very spacious and impeccably maintained lawn area, and your toes are in the sand! There are approximately 36 palms trees located on the property. There is also a huge 120+ year old Banyan tree!  Be sure to bring your camera! The lawn area is great for sunbathing, sitting on the lawn in the chaise lounges shaded by the many trees, or playing family games. We provide beach sand chairs, beach towels and miscellaneous children's beach toys, including boogie boards, sand chairs and lounges. There is a large BBQ (propane) for your use.
 There is a Queen bed in the main bedroom, 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds which can be made into a king bed, if you prefer. Please just let us know prior to your arrival so we can have it ready for your arrival. There is also a very comfortable queen sized Murphy bed in the great room, which can sleep 2 more guests.
 Our beach gets very little usage, as we are located in a residential area, no big hotels and condo complexes to share with. A large portion of the lawn area is maintained by our gardeners and some of it is State land and can be shared by others.
This 2 bedroom 2 bath home is adjacent to our 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath,  which is also on our property. Our property is 150 wide, and very private. If you would like to rent both homes, that certainly can be done. If you are interested in renting both of our homes (on the same 150 foot-wide property), this is the deal of a lifetime! The adjacent home can be viewed on VRBO 73607. Â
If both homes are rented at the same time, we can accommodate 16 guests!! Â
You will have 6 BEDROOMS AND 5 BATHROOMS, 2 KITCHENS AND MORE. BOTH HOMES ARE BEACHFRONT, WITH VIEWS OF THE OCEAN. PLEASE ASK ABOUT OUR BEST PRICING.
This is a wonderful property for large family reunions, birthdays and anniversaries. Everyone loves it here! These homes have so much to offer.

A short walk down the street will take you to the middle of Kihei Town. You will find shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores, Post Office, Kaiser, Banks. Fast food such as McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Local Fare restaurants and so much more . You will find just about everything you will need, including food stores, bars, breweries , entertainment, all with in walking distance!
To the northwest, the West Maui Mountains can be viewed. You will be able to view all of the large Windmills and the hill. Lanai, Molokini and other Islands can be seen from the property. The area is also used for surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing and canoeing. The mornings are usually the best time for a calm ocean and small waves. The trade winds do usually pick up in the afternoon, and cools the air. We do recommend wearing beach shoes for easy walking and swimming. Depending on the winds, many things can wash ashore. The sand can also be very hot.
The home is facing to the West, which means you will see some of the most beautiful sunsets on the Island. Depending on the time of the year (usually, between November and March) whales can usually be seen and heard beyond the reef. This is a wonderful experience for the children and adults alike! Please do not touch the turtle while they are asleep on the beach. No strong flashlight at night, they don't like the light and may not return.

From Kahului Airport follow the signs to Kihei from the airport access road. You will be directed to the highway leading to Kihei. Take the highway to the Lipoa Street exit and turn right. Go down Lipoa street, past So Kihei Rd and just before you get to the beach turn right on Uluniu Road. Go to 1194 Uluniu road. Our homes are on the left behind a lava rock wall.

The two story home is the 4 bedroom home and it is on the right. 1194 A ...you may park in the driveway or on the lawn in front of the house.
Please do not block driveway opening.
The home on the left is a single story 2 bedroom 2 bath home. If you are staying in the 1 story BUNGALOW, you may park your primary vehicle in the upper portion of the driveway and any additional vehicles, to the left of on the front lawn area of the smaller home.

45th Wedding Anniversary vacation
The house was just perfect & very well stocked. We loved being on the beach to walk as well as view the turtles in the moon light! We enjoyed the location being close to walk to dinner. We were able to experience some much needed R&R! Thank you to Brian as he was very accommodating!
Paradise in Maui
Absolutely amazing!! We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed every moment. The house is so cozy and has everything you need to make your stay the best. The view of the sunset from the lanai is second to none. We will definitely be going back. Mahalo for sharing your piece of paradise 😊😊
Amazing! We love it
We have been coming here for 13 years and will keep returning. We love the location - beach, restaurants, and supermarket all a short walk. The banyan tree in the back yard is amazing. I love listening to the birds. This place can't be beat.
Our happy place!
We have been coming to this property for about 10 years now, and it is absolutely our favorite place on the planet! It is beautifully maintained, has the most incredible view and beach access, is quiet, clean, modern, and has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Anniversary vacation with family
We planned and dreamed of this vacation for 1 1/2 years and expectations were exceeded. The lawn, the lanai, the beach, the turtles! The house had everything we needed. Incredible core memories were made and we can only hope to return someday. Thank you for giving us a home away from home!
Paradise
If you want to feel like you live in paradise this is the place for you. From the views, to the quiet grassy area, and the beach beyond this property is amazing. The house was very neat, clean, and well stocked. It provided the perfect location for our family of 6. The grassy area out back was perfect for a quite nap - or- a game of football with the kids. Just past the grass is the beach where you can snorkel or sit and watch the sea turtles in the evening. Highly recommend!!
Paradise Found on the Lanai!
We had an incredible stay at this property — it truly had everything we needed for a perfect Maui getaway! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the home is thoughtfully stocked and wonderfully maintained. The owner was super responsive, but honestly, everything ran so smoothly we hardly needed to reach out. The real star of the show? The lanai. We spent most of our days (and nights!) out there, soaking up the breeze, listening to the distant ocean waves, and just relaxing in paradise. Morning coffee, evening wine, and everything in between — the lanai was our happy place. We also loved the central location. You're just minutes from amazing restaurants, grocery stores, local markets, great shopping, and awesome excursions. The beach walks between high and low tide were a daily highlight! If you're looking for the perfect way to experience Maui, this is it. We can't wait to come back!

One of a kind property on Maui
Thu, Jul 11 – Fri, Jul 19, 2019 Vrbo 5/5 One of a kind property on Maui What a great place to stay! We snapped up this booking right away as we could find nothing else like it on Maui. A beachfront house with a wonderful large lanai overlooking a huge yard. Our young boys enjoyed playing in the banyan tree, cracking open coconuts, finding mangoes and chasing chickens in the yard! We also enjoyed spotting several sea turtles in the surf. Additionally, it’s located in Kihei which is a great place to stay if you are interested in checking out the rest the island has to offer and is in close proximity to additional beautiful beaches in South Maui. 07/26/2019 at 11:30 AM
A piece of paradise in Kihei
5/5 A piece of paradise in Kihei Brian was extremely responsive and accommodating to our situation. The house is centrally located to conveniences, but you’d never know it from the Lana’i. It felt like we had a private backyard right on our own private beach. We saw sea turtles swimming every day and went swimming ourselves too! The sunset is spectacular. You can watch kite surfers and walk or run on the dune path right there. The house is comfortable, clean, and well appointed. There is a/c in the bedrooms which was very nice! A great location to explore all that Maui has the offer or stay put and enjoy the slice of paradise!! 07/12/2019 at 2:04 AM

So, in 2005 we opened our doors for all to enjoy. We are pleasantly pleased to report our guests enjoy the property, as we do. This exceptional property, 150' wide beachfront, impeccably maintained large grassy lawn area, that will lead you to the beach. (just a short walk across the lawn and your toes are in the sand). The children love playing on the lawn and climbing the Banyan Tree. We offer you an option, not may other properties have. There are 2 homes on this property. One is a 4 bedroom/2 1/2 bath (sleeps 10) and a 2 bedroom/2 bath home that sleeps 6 guests. (16 guests total) It is perfect for family reunions! We are very hands on homeowners. We are available 24/7, most of the time.
